Covid-19 death toll reaches 935.

PESHAWAR -- The Covid-19 death toll in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reached 935 as 13 more persons died of the pandemic on Monday.

The province detected 337 new patients, raising the overall tally in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to 26,115, according to a report released by health department.

It said that 278 people, who had previously been detected positive for the ailment, recovered that took the number of total healed patients from the pandemic in the province to 12,626.

The number of people, who died of the pandemic, reached 453 in Peshawar as eight more passed away due to the infection.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has so far recorded 26,115 cases

The number of confirmed patients reached 9,029 in the district with the detection of 106 new cases.

Swat, Abbottabad, Kohat, Hangu and Karak reported one death apiece, the report said.

Karak recorded 25 new patients taking its total number of cases to 362. The district has so far recorded 12 deaths due to the virus.

In Dir Lower, 22 new patients were registered, making its total cases 1,199. The district has so far reported 13 fatalities from the infection.

Swat and Kohat recorded 20 patients each, making the total score there 2,493 and 500 respectively. Both the districts have witnessed deaths of 92 and 28 people respectively. Swat is second after Peshawar in term of new cases and deaths caused due to the Covid-19.

From Mansehra 19 more patients were reported, taking the number of total patients infected with the virus to 375 there.

It has so far registered 10 deaths from the infection.
