Court yet to decide on police challan in Nazim Jokhio murder case.

KARACHI -- The court has yet to decide on the police challan submitted in the Nazim Jokhio murder case and directed all sides on Saturday to submit their arguments on the matter in the next hearing, media reported.

Counsel representing National Commission for Human Rights Mazhar Junejo will present his arguments over pardon from the family and elimination of anti-terrorism clauses from the case in the next hearing.

The judicial magistrate Malir did not decide on the challan submitted by police today and adjourned the hearing for June 15.

On May 23, in a major relief for PPP lawmakers and other suspects in the Nazim Jokhio murder case, the anti-terrorism court okayed the transfer of the murder case to session court.
