The bench of PHC Chief Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan and Justice Mohammad Nasir Mehfooz issued notice to Nadra director general and directed him to submit comments within 10 days to the petition jointly filed by Izatullah Khan, his four brothers and their families.

Advocate Saifullah Muhib Kakakhel appeared for the petitioners and stated that the CNIC of one of his clients Fazal Rabi was blocked by Nadra despite the fact that he was a citizen of Pakistan and the authority wanted to block identity cards of other petitioners as well.

He stated that the petitioners hailed from Mohmand district of erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas and were presently residing in Peshawar. He added that his clients owned properties including ancestral properties and had all the relevant record.
