Court stays MCI director's repatriation orders.

ISLAMABAD -- The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday issued a stay order against the transfer of Director Municipal Administration (DMA) who has recently been repatriated to his parent department for alleged corrupt practices.

The administrator of Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI), Irfan Nawaz Memon, last week removed Director Shakeel Arshad and a Deputy Director Mohammad Asif of Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA) over alleged corruption.

Their repatriation orders said work and conduct of these officers was not satisfactory and they were involved in corruption and corrupt practices.

The statements of allegations and charges will be separately sent to their parent departments.
