Court rejects NAB's request for Qaim Khani's physical remand.

ISLAMABAD -- An Accountability Court (AC) Monday rejected the request of NAB to grant again physical remand of former director general parks Karachi Liaqat Qaim Khani in corruption case.

AC-I Judge Muhammad Bashir conducted hearing on a case against Qaim Khani initiated by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The accused was produced before the judge after ending of his judicial remand time.

During course of proceeding, NAB Prosecutor Sohail Arif requested the court to grant again 14-days physical remand of the accused for further investigation. He said that the bureau would conduct investigation from the...
