Court extends Khursheed Shah's judicial remand for 17 days.

SUKKUR -- Accountability court on Friday has extended judicial remand of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah for 17 days in assets beyond income case. PPP leader was taken in the ambulance to present in the court.

The accountability court judge allowed NAB Rawalpindi to investigate, directing the NAB to take answers of the ten questions sent to Khurshid Shah within the jail. A questionnaire based on 10 queries was handed over to Shah's lawyers.

The court adjourned the hearing ordering Khursheed Shah to appear again on February 3. Currently, Syed Khurshid Shah is undergoing treatment at NICVD on judicial custody.

It is to be mentioned here that Joint Investigation Team (JIT), headed by NAB DG in Multan Attiqur Rehman, has been formed on the orders of NAB chairman to probe into Khursheed Shah's case.

PPP leader along with 17 others are named in a reference pertaining to corruption of over Rs1 billion.
