Court extends interim bail of captain (retd) Safdar Awan in sedition case.

LAHORE -- A Lahore sessions court on Saturday extended interim bail of Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar Awan, the son-in-law of former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, in a sedition case.

He appeared before the court after his interim bail expired on Saturday. At the outset of the hearing, Farhad Ali Shah Advocate stated that his client, Safdar Awan was allegedly booked in a political case and he had not violated any of the SOPs neither sedition.
