Court adjourns Imran Khan's plea against Kh. Asif till July 7.

ISLAMABAD -- A lower court of Islamabad on Tuesday adjourned hearing till July 7, in a defamation case filed by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI)'s Chief Imran Khan against Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N)'s Leader Khawaja Muhammad Asif.

The lawyers continued cross examination on the statement submitted by Imran Khan Niazi who appeared before the court through a video link.

Imran Khan said he had been the chairman of Shaukat Khanum Board since 1996 and his sister had never been the secretary of the board of governors.

To a question by the lawyer regarding Rashid Ali Khan, Imran said that he knew him as a friend who had good experience in finance. And he helped in transaction to buy the Banigala house.
