I AM a businessman who uses the services of a private courier company for sending and receiving my business documents. On Jan 7, I received inbound invoice charges of Rs3,209 in respect of a pen sent as a New Year gift by my business associates.

I refused to pay the exorbitant charges which are not liable on gifts of no commercial value. The next day their staff called up and told me that I had to pay these charges which I refused again.
