Couple dies in accident.
TAXILA -- A couple lost their lives and three others were injured - two of them daughters of the couple - in an accident on Fatehjang-Rawalpindi Road near Hattar checkpost on Thursday.
Sources in police and Rescue 1122 said Ghulam Fareed along with his wife, two daughters and mother-in-law was travelling towards his native town when a dumper crashed into their vehicle. Ghulam and his wife Imtiaz Bibi died on the spot whereas the couple's daughters identified as 16-year-old Areeba Fareed and nine-year-old Areesha Fareed were injured. Ghulam Fareed's mother-in-law, identified as 65-year-old Anwar Bibi was injured.
Rescue-1122 officials, after two hours of hectic efforts, retrieved the bodies of the ill-fated couple.
Later, the deceased and injured were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters...
