Corruption allegations: BISP suspends four assistance directors belong to KP.

ISLAMABAD -- Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Chairperson Sania Nishtar has suspended four officers for their alleged involvement in corruption and corrupt practices, sources said on Saturday.

The suspended officers had held support cards on their wives names. Two grade 17 officers belong to DI Khan and two from Abbottabad. Hundreds of thousands of rupees have been recovered from them.

According to the notification issued by BISP office on Friday, BISP Tehsil office DI Khan Assistant Director Muhammad Nauman had extracted Rs130,374 on his wife's card, BISP...
