Consumers Courts not functioning properly: minister.

KARACHI -- The Sindh government has gathered information about performance of its recently established consumer courts and found that they are 'not functioning properly' mainly because of a lack of awareness among the masses about their importance.

Sindh industries, commerce and cooperative minister Ikramullah Dharejo said plans were being made to launch a vigorous awareness campaign across Sindh to make sure that those courts could work in accordance with their potential and justifying the reason for which they had been established.
