Constable among two injured in Kurram blast.

KURRAM/BAJAUR -- A police constable and a passer-by were woundedin a bomb blast in Parachinar, the administrative headquarters of Kurram tribal district, on Monday.

District police officer Mohammad Quresh said the device was dumped in solid waste near Mazdoor Chowk.

He said a constable and a passer-by got injured in the blast. Identified as constable Hamid Hussain and Syed Qaiser Hussain, they were shifted to the district headquarters hospital.

The police officer said a large number of daily wagers were present on the occasion when the explosion occurred.
