Confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan soar to 160,118; death toll rises to 3,093.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan has confirmed 118 deaths by novel coronavirus in one day as the number of positive cases has surged to 160,118. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 3,093 on Thursday. Meanwhile the condition of 3159 coronavirus patients is critical in whole country.

According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on Thursday, 5,358 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours. 31,500 coronavirus tests were conducted during the last 24 hours; meanwhile so far 982,012 total coronavirus tests have been conducted in whole country.

So far 59,215 coronavirus patients have been recovered in whole country; meanwhile 97,810 active coronavirus patients are present in the country.
