COMSTECH to hold webinar on `Innovation Policy' on Friday.

ISLAMABAD -- Former Chairperson, Pakistan Council for Science and Technology and member UNESCO International Advisory Board (IAB), Dr Syeda Tanveer Kausar Naim will deliver a lecture at COMSTECH webinar on Innovation Policy for OIC states on January 15 (Friday).

She would talk about the relationship between science, technology and innovation, the national innovation systems and the role of STI policies in the development of a country.

Dr Naim would highlight the complexity of the innovation systems, its components, technologies involved and the relevance of STI capabilities and importance of public policy instruments required to create an efficient business climate for success. She would suggest institutional architecture essential for promotion of innovation in developing countries.

Policy makers, bureaucrats, development and innovation experts, academicians, scientists, entrepreneurs, journalists, students, and interested general public are invited to benefit from this expert lecture.

Dr Syeda Tanveer Kausar Naim obtained D Phil from Sussex University, UK. She served as the Chairperson, Pakistan Council for Science and Technology. She served COMSTECH as Consultant and founded STI Policy Research and Training Centre of COMSTECH.
