Completion of work on graveyards sought.

LAHORE -- The Punjab government has sought completion of five state of the art graveyards-four in Lahore and one in Sialkot-till April 30 and directed the authorities concerned to make these cemeteries functional as per the deadline.

'The Punjab CM has sought completion of the five modern cemeteries ... till April 30. Following this, we will ensure making the new graveyards functional as per deadline,' caretaker Punjab local government minister Mr Ibrahim Murad said while presiding over a meeting here on Saturday.

He informed the participants that the CM has approved release of the remaining funds amounting to Rs400 million for this purpose beside waiving of burial...
