Committee to resolve PIC issue.
LAHORE -- The Lahore High Court on Wednesday disposed of petitions seeking cancellation of FIRs registered against lawyers in the wake of Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) attack after the provincial government and the inspector general of police assured it that all those arrested would be dealt strictly in accordance with law.
A two-judge bench headed by Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi also directed the police not to cover faces of the arrested lawyers for their appearance before trial court.
