Commissioner Larkana chairs meeting to review progress of development schemes in Division.

LARKANA -- The high-level meeting of officers of different nation building departments to review the progress of development schemes in Larkana Division in various sectors was presided over by the Commissioner Larkana Division Ghanwar Ali Leghari, held at his office here on Tuesday.

Development schemes of roads, provincial buildings, provincial highways, works and services, education works, public health and other departments were reviewed during the meeting. Executive engineers and other officers of various departments gave a briefing about their respective projects.

The Commissioner directed officers of Works and Services and other various Departments to realize their responsibilities, redouble their efforts to complete the development schemes throughout the Division in due time and ensure the quality of the work without any delay, any kind of slackness in this regard, will not be tolerated at any cost.

The Commissioner directed the Superintending Engineer works and Services Larkana to complete the development schemes under the Annual Development Programme(ADP) and M and R in time.

He said that the Sindh government is releasing money for the schemes despite the difficult conditions, so the public welfare projects should not be stopped at any cost.

During the meeting the officers of various Nation Building Departments briefed the meeting regarding the progress of development schemes in detail.

The Commissioner Larkana also directed the officials of Buildings department to redouble their efforts to complete the Development schemes in time, so that the peoples avail from such schemes.

Commissioner Larkana said that due to the heavy rains, development projects have suffered a lot, while the work of schemes has been stopped in many places, which should be started as soon as possible.

He said that the Deputy Commissioners should personally monitor the ongoing works in the district headquarters and personally visit the schemes to complete the projects. While Superintending Engineers and other officials of the concerned departments keep visiting the ongoing works in their respective areas and these projects...
