Commissioner decides forming policy to save people from commodities price hike.

HYDERABAD -- Commissioner Muhammad Abbas Baloch has informed that the administration has decided to form a policy in consultation with traders for fixing rate of essential commodities in order to save people from price hike.

Holding meeting with the representatives of traders organizations here at his office on Tuesday, the commissioner said list of fixed wholesale rates of essential commodities would be provided to retailers after every ten days in order to control the artificial price hike from hoarders.

The commissioner said price hike on essential commodities from traders had badly affected living standard of the people and there was a need to initiate action to fix reasonable prices of essential commodities in consultation with the traders.

He said the divisional and district administrations were fully committed to initiate result oriented measures in order to save common people of the division from artificial price hike on commodities.

The business community should submit their complaints, suggestions and recommendations in this regard so that reasonable wholesale rates of commodities could be fixed with provision of price list to retailers, he said and assured that all...
