Cold, dry weather predicted.

ISLAMABAD -- Cold and dry weather is predicted in most parts of the country while very cold in northern areas and north Balochistan during the next twelve hours.

However, fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning and night hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad 5 degree centigrade, Lahore 9, Peshawar 6, Karachi 15, Quetta minus 2, Gilgit 2, Murree minus 1 and Muzaffarabad 3 degree centigrade.
