CMIT to probe uplift projects.

MUZAFFARGARH -- The Chief Minister's Inspection Team (CMIT) on Tuesday visited Muzaffargarh to probe the corruption allegedly committed by the district council administration in development schemes.

Some local MPAs complained to the chief minister that their development schemes were not completed by district council officials who allegedly embezzled funds.

On Tuesday, CMIT Chairman Khurram Iqbal along with other members reached Muzaffargarh and asked the district council chief officer Rai Zaffar to examine the projects in constituencies PP 276 and 277, but the district council administration could not show the schemes which were mentioned in papers.
