CM Task Force formed to check illegal use of electricity.

PESHAWAR -- The Chief Minister's Task Force established under the leadership of the Secretary Energy and Power Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the prevention of illegal use of electricity in the province and recovery of dues from electricity consumers has so far recovered Rs 3,36,04,809 in a short period of two months.

According to data released by the office of ChairAman Chief Minister Task Force, Secretary Energy and Power Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shah, the CM Task Force with the help of PESCO, despite the recent disastrous flood situation, started a campaign on July 18, 2022, and recovered a record amount of Rs 3,36,04,809, reAmoved 1,870 Kundas, arrested 90 people red-handAed while stealing electricity and registered 789 cases.
