CM starts surprise visits to monitor free flour supply to poor.

LAHORE -- Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday started conducting raids to monitor the free flour supply to the people of the province.

The Punjab government has announced a special package worth of Rs 53 billion prepared to provide free flour (Atta) to the poor during the holy month of Ramazan, a first-of-its-kind scheme aimed at facilitating the poor and providing them a big relief.

The Chief Minister made a surprise visit to the centre set up at Model Town School Lahore by the district government to get first-hand information.

On the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi himself invited the men and women present in the center regarding the supply of free flour. He also asked the citizens about the problems being faced by the people for getting free flour.
