CM reviews long march's security.

LAHORE -- Chief Minister Parvez Elahi on Wednesday reviewed security arrangements for the PTI's caravan to be launched from Toba Tek Singh, directing the police and district administration to ensure fool-proof security for it and the march to be resumed from Wazirabad on Thursday (today).

PTI Secretary General Asad Umar will lead the caravan from Toba Tek Singh that will pass through Jhang, Faisalabad, Jaranwala, Chiniot and other cities on its way to Rawalpindi.

The long march of the party, being resumed from Wazirabad, will reach Rawalpindi through its planned route. PTI Chairman Imran Khan will address the march participants through video-link.

The chief minister said the long march and its routes would be monitored through drone and CCTV cameras, adding the police commandos be deployed on the roofs of the buildings on its route. He also ordered excellent food arrangements for the officials being deputed for the march's security, saying a police control room would work round-the-clock to monitor it.
