CM orders free medicines at BVH.

BAHAWALPUR -- Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohisn Naqvi on Thursday paid a surprise visit to the Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH) and ordered provision of free of cost medicines on complaints of some patients about unavailability of drugs and warned that no negligence would be be tolerated in this regard.

Earlier, the chief minister visited two free flour centres at Government College of Technology, Satellite Town, and Government Abbasia High School, Bahawalpur.

Divisional Commissioner Dr. Ehtesham Anwar Mahar, RPO Rai Babar Saeed, Deputy Commissioner Zaheer Anwar Jappa and DPO Syed Muhammad Abbas briefed the CM about the free flour distribution for which the deserving people, senior citizens and elderly women had been properly queued up.

According to an official handout, the CM exchanged views with the people especially women standing in queues. When some of the women complained about their problems, the CM ordered the administrative officers to redress their issues.
