CM orders depts to streamline screening tests for hiring staff.

PESHAWAR -- Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has directed the government departments to streamline screening tests and interviews mechanism for hiring staff and adopt realistic criteria for the purpose.

A statement issued here said that while chairing a meeting of KP Urban Mobility Authority's board of directors, the chief minister said that screening tests and interviews should be based on questions relevant and practical to the field in which staff was to be hired instead of asking irrelevant and out of context questions in those tests so that selection of candidates having the required professional capabilities could be ensured.

The meeting was informed that first phase of recruitment of staff in the authority had been completed, however, some of the vacancies of technical personnel could not be filled due to unavailability of candidates having the required educational qualifications and professional experience.

The board decided to re-advertise the left over vacancies...
