CM orders arrest of accused behind Dir killing.

PESHAWAR/LOWER DIR -- Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has directed the concerned authorities to take swift action and ensure early arrest of absconders in the murder case of a young man who was killed and his brother injured on Monday in a passenger coach over a political argument.

The chief minister chaired a meeting regarding the tragic incidentthat took place in a coach on Swat Motorway last week. The forum was briefed about various aspects of the incident, including the progress made on the arrest of those involved in the incident.

CM special assistant Shafiullah Khan, MNA Mehboob Shah, Malakand commissioner, RPO and DPO Mardan and other concerned officials attended the meeting. The family members of the deceased were also present on the occasion.

The chief minister directed the relevant authorities to complete the prosecution process and said all available resources should be utilised for providing justice to the bereaved family.

On this occasion, he extended his sympathies to the bereaved family and announced a special package of Rs5 million and government jobs for the family members of late Rahimuddin.
