CM green-lights safe city project for six more places.

LAHORE -- Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has accorded approval to establish safe city projects in six more places across the province.

He committed funds to the tune of Rs21bn to execute the scheme and also directed the Punjab Safe City Authority to streamline e-challan system with the coordination of the Excise and Taxation Department to ensure better results in traffic management. The approval was granted at a meeting held at the CM Secretariat here on Thursday.

IGP Arif Nawaz Khan, PSCA chief administration officer Kamran Khan, chief operating officer Akbar Nasir Khan, Capital City Police Officer BA Nasir, the ministers for law, finance, industries, commerce and investment, the law secretary and other senior officers attended the meeting. The CM chaired the meeting being chairperson for the PSCA.
