CM for transparency in transfer of teachers.

PESHAWAR -- Chief Minister Mahmood khan has directed the high ups of elementary and secondary education department to ensure transparency in the routine postings and transfers of teachers under the online transfer policy of the department.

He said that all the postings and transfers should be made as per the pre-defined formula of the policy, according to a statement issued here.

The chief minister directed the authorities of the education department to ensure timely completion of home delivery of free textbooks to the students of public sector schools so that the students promoted to next grades could be kept engaged in educational activities.

The chief minister said this while chairing a meeting. Provincial Minister for Education Akbar Ayub Khan, Education Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, director of education department and other relevant officials attended the meeting.

The chief minister was told that home delivery of free textbooks, result cards and home work schedules to the students of public sector schools promoted to next grades in annual examinations had been started across the province to engage them in educational activities during the closure of schools due to coronavirus pandemic.
