CM directs health department to expedite recruitment process in merged districts.

PESHAWAR -- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Mahmood Khan has directed high ups of health department to expedite recruitment process against created vacancies giving a timeline to complete the whole process.

He was chairing a meeting here Thursday convened to review progress on various initiatives of provincial government aiming improvement of healthcare delivery system in merged districts. He also directed creation of new vacancies in these areas besides expediting work on upgradation of hospitals and provision of Standard Medical Equipment adding unnecessary delay in implementation of these schemes would not be tolerated.

On the occasion meeting was told that KP government has initially created one thousand new vacancies ranging from BS-03 up to BS-18 for various health service delivery outlets in newly merged districts while recruitment process against newly created vacancies has been started that would be completed by July this year. In addition, more than eleven hundred additional vacancies would also be created in next phase, and overall more than twenty three hundred new vacancies would be created for strengthening health sector in merged areas.
