CM approves Rs.125 mn grant-in-aid for five KP cancer hospitals.

PESHAWAR -- The Chief Minister(CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan Wednesday directed the health department to upgrade IRNUM Cancer Hospital in Peshawar and SINOR Cancer hospital in Swat in the next Annual Development Programme. The CM has also approved Rs 125 Million yearly grant in aid to the existing 5 cancer hospitals in the province. The upgradation of IRNUM hospital will be carried out at an estimated cost of Rs 1270 Million whereas the upgradation of SINOR Cancer hospital in Swat will be upgraded at an estimated cost of Rs 491 Million.

The upgradation will ensure availability of modern and up to date medical equipment in the hospitals. Moreover, the land area covered by SINOR will be increased...
