'Clear message goes out, Pakistan is safe' says Sri Lankan commentator.

One of the renowned voices from Sri Lanka Roshan Abeysinghe gave a clear message to the world that Pakistan is a safe place where all sorts of international sporting events can take place without any security fears.

In an exclusive interview with ARY Sports at National Stadium Karachi (NSK), Abeysinghe appreciated the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for letting them feel more comfortable this time around.

'The security is tight but we feel more comfortable this time. We can easily move wherever we want and I think there is no more security fear in this country,' he said.

'My message is clear that teams should think of visiting here. Pakistan deserves all the help following their hospitality and love for cricket,' said the visiting commentator.

The revival of Test cricket in Pakistan

For Abeysinghe, playing cricket at home benefits nations in so many ways. It gives immense confidence to the entire cricketing set-up.

'I think playing at home is much more comfortable for any team. It gives players immense confidence and advantage to showcase their talent,' he marked.

The journalist-turned-cricket commentator thinks that the revival of international cricket in Pakistan will help in producing more talented kids. 'For a youngster, nothing is more exceptional than watching his national stars playing in front of him. It is a unique feel when young talent sees players like Babar Azam, Abid Ali, Shan Masood,' he said.
