Cleanliness drive kicks off in Karachi.

KARACHI -- Deputy Commissioner and Administrator DMC South Irshad Sodhar inaugurated the October 2020 cleanliness drive in District South by planting tree sampling at IBA Karachi City Campus on Wednesday. Speaking on this occasion, the DC and Administrator DMC South said that district administration in collaboration with Sindh Solid Waste Management Board will be taking steps to remove garbage at par with international standards. He said the clean-up drive will eliminate encroachments on main artilleries and streets across the district, dispose of waste, improve drainage systems and identify locations across the district where the DMC South's park department will plant trees and develop green patches.
