Cholistan jeep rally from Feb 15 to 19.

BAHAWALPUR -- The 18th Cholistan jeep rally will be held from Feb 15 to 19, 2023, in the vast desert touching the boundaries of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan districts.

This was announced by Divisional Commissioner Raja Jahanagir Anwar while presiding over a meeting here on Wednesday.

Bahawalpur Deputy Commissioner Zahid Anwar Warraich, Cholistan Development Authority Managing Director Tariq Mahmood Bokhari and other heads of divisional and district government departments attended the event.

Over 100 competitors expected

Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab Managing Director Agha Muhammad Ali Abbas joined through video-link.

The commissioner said more than 100 competitors were expected to participate in the jeep rally from all over the country.

He directed the heads of the departments to make elaborate arrangements to make this annual event a success and complete the repairs of the roads and jeep rally route.

The authorities assigned duties to several committees to make preparations for the rally.
