'Chitral Day' celebrated.

PESHAWAR -- A musical night was held in Chitral on Sunday night in connection with the 'Chitral Day'.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) in collaboration with Trich Mir Backpackers Club Pakistan organised the event.

A large number of students and members of civil society attended the event. MPA Rabia Basri was the chief guest.

The ceremony also featured traditional songs, including performances by Mohsin Ali and his team, captivating the audience.

Various artists, including Raees Ghazan, Sariruddin, Tanver Nawab, Waqas and Hakim played different kinds of musical instruments.

Stalls displaying rich cultural heritage of Chitral were set up by the department of sports, and youth affairs aimed to project the local culture and make people aware about traditions of various areas of the district.

Addressing the ceremony, MPA Rabia Basri said Chitralis were peaceful, law-abiding, and these activities would help promote local traditions besides providing people with an entertainment...
