THE government of Japan had gifted the people of Pakistan a 230-bed children's hospital in the early 1980s. It is our misery that the hospital's administration is in the hands of people who don't care.

Last month, I went to the hospital for my daughter's surgery for a cleft lip.

I faced a lot of issues. There was confusion over the token system. While a digital copy was available it did not match the manual token system, and this delayed our schedule.

People in the pharmacy and laboratory are not trained professionals.
