Chaudhry Armaghan Subhani of the PML-N strongly condemned the derogatory remarks of BJP leaders against Holy Prophet Hazarat Muhammad (PBUH) that hurt the sentiments of Muslims across the world.

He asked the government to ensure provision of fertilizer to farmers for getting bumper crops to tackle the confronted challenges of food security.

The lawmaker said without appropriate attention and investment in the agriculture sector, the country would not be able to achieve self-sufficiency in food products.

Similarly, he said without political stability in the country, sustainable economic progress could not be attained.

He noted that national institutions were running in losses due to negligence and mismanagement of the past regime.

He expressed the hope that an experienced team of the incumbent coalition government under the dynamic leadership of Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif would steer the country out of the current crises.

He also highlighted the issue of his constituency and alleged that the PTI government during three and half years had totally ignored the development of the area.

PPPP MNA Dr Shazia Sobia Aslam Soomro appreciated Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for making efforts to bring out Pakistan from the grey list of the Financial Action Task Force (FATA).

She also paid tributes to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto for her sacrifices for the supremacy of the parliament and strengthening of democracy.

Ali Gohar Khan of the PML-N said one of the best budgets had been announced in very difficult economic situation.

'Everyone is aware of what the PTI has done with the country's economy,' he added.

He also highlighted the past achievements of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government under the dynamic leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

He thanked Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for giving approval to build roads in his area and said this would help uplift the life standard of locals.

Independent MNA Mohsin Dawar said the earthquake had badly affected the area along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, requesting the government to extend help to Afghanistan in this difficult time.

PML-N MNA Azhar Qayyum Nahra appreciated the Finance Minister for presenting a balanced budget and providing relief to the common man.

He expressed the hope that PML-N leadership would put the country on the road of progress, prosperity and development. He was optimistic that the current wave of inflation would be controlled.
