Charsadda admin increases wheat quota for mills.

CHARSADDA -- The district administration took the initiative to overcome the prevailing flour shortage and decided to increase quota of wheat from 214 metric tons to 283 metric tons for mills and the subsidised flour points from 284 to 414 in the district.

The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by deputy commissioner Dr Qasim Ali.

According to the plan, about 19,000 bags of 10kg would be provided to the consumers daily at these flour points. Furthermore, complaint cells have been set up in the three tehsils of Charsadda.

The meeting was attended by district food controller Abdul Hafeez and other officials.
