Chandio demands immediate end to power cuts.

HYDERABAD -- Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) information secretary Senator Maula Bux Chandio has said that power loadshedding and outages in these boiling weather conditions, coupled with coronavirus outbreak, in Sindh have made people's lives miserable.

In his statement issued here on Tuesday, he observed that prolonged power outages were being witnessed in every city and town of Sindh.

'The revengeful attitude adopted by the federal government has remained the same in the holy month of Ramazan,' he remarked, and deplored that people who wanted to stay within their homes in order to save themselves from novel coronavirus were deprived of electricity.

He noted that people had now started going out of their houses, left without electricity, because of sizzling temperatures.

'The incompetent federal government which is not afraid of the pandemic does not care about the troubles people are acing at sehr and iftar,' he said, adding that the worst-ever power loadshedding was being resorted to right from Karachi to Kashmore.
