Chairman PCB discuss cricket promotion with CM Punjab.
LAHORE -- Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz Raja met Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi at Chief Minister's Office in which matters pertaining to steps for promoting sports and especially cricket in Punjab came under discussion.
They discussed providing opportunities to the young cricketers of the far-flung areas of Punjab.
CM Parvez Elahi expressed good wishes for the victory of Pakistan cricket team in the Asia Cup Final.
Talking on this occasion, the CM said that there was an immense talent of cricket in Punjab adding that the youth should be encouraged to promote sports especially cricket at the lower tier.
He stated that collective steps would be taken with the PCB in order to promote cricket...
