Ch Shujaat elected Pakistan Muslim League president.

LAHORE -- Former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was elected unopposed as the president of the Pakistan Muslim League on Saturday as the process of intra party elections that started in October 2020 concludes.

Federal Minister for Housing Tariq Bashir Cheema was elected unopposed as General Secretary. Election Commission headed by Jahangir A Jhoja advocate announced results at the PML House.

Earlier, Mohammad Tariq Hassan and Kunwar Arshad Khan were elected as the President and General Secretary respectively in Sindh province. In Balochistan, Saeedul Hassan Mendokhel was elected President and S R Nasir as General Secretary.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, former MNA Mehboob Ullah Jan was elected as President and former MPA and Provincial Minister Wajih-uz-Zaman Khan as General Secretary. In Punjab, Ch Parvez Elahi was elected...
