Central Punjab extends dominance in QeA trophy final against Northern.

A double-century by Umar Akmal and a well made 99 by Zafar Gohar has extended Central Punjab dominance in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy final at National Stadium in Karachi against Northern.

Central Punjab continued to increase their overnight lead of 212 and ended up declaring the side on a mammoth score of 675-8 with a lead of 421.

Umar Akmal (218) scored the second double-century of his first-class career. From the start of the Day, he continued to play his shots, his innings included 20 fours and eight massive sixes.

He was brilliantly partnered by Zafar Gohar who was just one run short of making his second first-class hundred. Both of them added 225 runs for the sixth wicket.
