Census staff compelled to perform duties on donkey.

JAM NAWAZ ALI -- The Federal Government and the Statistics Department started the digital census after a media campaign and announced to provide transportation or fuel charges to the enumerators during the digital census, besides providing other facilities to them but no step has been taken in this regard so far. Due to not having a budget the census staff is performing duties to complete the given task on their own. It is worth mentioning that those teachers, who have not been provided salaries for the past ten months, have also been included in the census teams. The newly posted teachers said that they were already facing many hardships due to non issuance of their salaries but the census duties have doubled their problems.
