CDA should tell if temple in H-9 is part of master plan of Islamabad or otherwise: IHC.

ISLAMABAD -- Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notice and sought reply from Capital Development Authority (CDA) on the petition filed against the construction of temple in Islamabad.

A single bench of IHC presided over by Justice Amir Farooq took up for hearing petition filed by Chaudhry Tanvir Akhtar a local lawyer Tuesday.

The petitioner took the plea that the land provided for construction of temple in sector H-9 at Islamabad be taken back. The construction funds provided for Hindu temple be also withdrawn. A temple is already there in Said Pur village. Government can decorate it. The land given for construction of temple in H-9 Islamabad is sheer violation of master plan of Islamabad.
