Case against two armed men in 'PTI candidate's by-poll campaign'.

MUZAFFARGARH -- Alipur police have registered a case against two unidentified armed men allegedly accompanying the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) candidate from PP-272 by-poll, Moazzam Jatoi, for violating the code of conduct during the election campaign here on Tuesday.

The case was registered under section 11-b of the Punjab Arms Amendment 2015 and Punjab Arms Amendment Ordinance 1965- at Alipur police station.

In the FIR, the police claimed that a team was patrolling in the provincial assembly constituency PP-272 when they found the two unidentified men brandishing weapons.

Police sources said the alleged incident occurred when the PTI candidate was campaigning in the constituency.
