Capital sees another string of robberies.

ISLAMABAD -- Robbers and thieves looted cash and valuables from 27 different places of capital, police said on Tuesday.

In the first incident three persons armed with weapons raided a mobile shop of Hammad Balch at Tarnol and held up the shopkeeper and customer at gunpoint, the police said, adding that later they looted Rs84,000 cash, eight mobile phones and accessories at gunpoint.

In another incident a gang of robbers intercepted Abrar Hussain in H-11 and looted Rs90,000 cash from him at gunpoint, they said, adding that a gang of three robbers intercepted Amir Sayed and his two friends at F-8/3 and looted three mobile phones at gunpoint.

Likewise, a robber intercepted and held up Sayam Sajid Ali near Lohi Bher Wildlife Park and looted two mobile phones and purse from her at gunpoint, the police said, adding a robber...
