Cantt police bust international gang of swindlers.

Rawalpindi -- Cantt police have busted an international gang of swindlers by arresting three of its active members involved in swindling expatriates by impersonating personnel of law enforcement agencies in Pakistan as well as several other countries, informed a police spokesman on Thursday.

The detained swindlers-cum-dacoits have been identified as Ibrahim (ring leader), Muhammad Javed and Sikandar Ibrahim, against whom case was lodged, he added.

The investigators have also recovered from the possession of dacoits the national and foreign currency, police uniforms, wireless sets, international passports, residence visas/permits, bogus number plates, motorcycle and car they used in crime and weapons with bullets, he mentioned.

According to him, City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Ahsan Younas, while taking notice of increasing incidents of dacoitees/fraud with expatriates, have ordered SSP Potohar Division Syed Ali to burst the gang of swindlers.
