Can govt implement ban on CNG kits in school vans?

PESHAWAR -- The district administration of Peshawar has banned the use of CNG kits in school vans and public transport vehicles. According to an official notification, the use of CNG kits in the vehicles carrying students will not be allowed. The ban will also apply on public transport vehicles. A spokesman for the district administration said the ban has been imposed over several public complaints and under the orders of the courts. The spokesman said the drivers violating the ban will face action. Parents of students have welcomed the ban on CNG kits and said it will ensure safety of their children. They said several incidents of CNG cylinder blasts happen in the city routinely in which precious lives are lost, but the unfortunate trend continues and people continue to lose their lives.
