Campaign launched in Lakki to fight virus.

LAKKI MARWAT -- Rescue 1122 launched a campaign here the other day to raise awareness of preventive measures against coronavirus.

The Rescue 1122 experts visited different bazaars in Lakki, Naurang and Serai Gambila towns and held awareness sessions with the local people.

They also went to police stations, banks and other public places to educate operators and employees of the organisations and citizens about measures to tackle coronavirus.

They distributed pamphlets urging the citizens to wear masks and avoid visiting crowded places. They also asked the people to wash their hands frequently, use sanitiser and avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth.

CHAFF GUTTED: A local farmer suffered a big loss when heaps of chaff he had dumped in his fields in Aatashi Michenkhel village caught fire here the other day.
