Cadets asked to maintain college traditions.

TAXILA -- Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi asked cadets to maintain the splendid traditions of the Cadet College Hassanabdal.

He was speaking as chief guest at the 58th parents' day ceremony at the cadet college on Thursday.

Admiral Abbasi, who is also a former cadet of the college, appreciated the continuous endeavors of the institution in provision of high quality education and character building of cadets.

He also expressed appreciation for the faculty in making the cadet college one of the leading institutions of the country.

Talking to the cadets, the naval chief advised them to have unwavering faith in Allah Almighty continue to seek knowledge and be ethically and morally upright.

He urged the young cadets to strongly hold the core aspects of Allama Iqbal's philosophy based on Quranic teachings and lqbal's inclusiveness.
